

Terms and Conditions
The general terms and conditions below apply for individual bookings unless a special agreement has been made. Separate rules apply for groups of over 12 people. The house reserves the rights to apply special terms and conditions that differ from these in case of public holidays, special events, seasonality or additional services require so.
Only a person over the age of 18 is allowed to make a reservation. The adult making a reservation for a person under the age of 18 will be held responsible for the minor, whether he or she accommodates with the minor or not. An underage person travelling alone will need a letter of consent signed by a guardian. The letter includes the minor’s name, birthday, dates of arrival and departure, name and contact information of a guardian.
Confirmation and Payment
When reserving a house/cottage/apartment, your name, address, arrival- and departure time and method of payment are required. The reservation shall be treated as confirmed when the full payment in advance has been provided and you have received a reservation confirmation number.
A separate payment schedule can be agreed under special circumstances with credit card guarantee (including your name, credit card number, credit card expiry date, credit card CVC/CVV code, address, phone number and email address). The Arctic Dreams House reserves the right to release any service and space, which is not paid in advance in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.
Children under 3 years old, when no additional bed is required, are free of charge. The child rate is offered for 4 – 12 years old children.
Cancellation Policy & Changes
Deposit payment 100% upon reservation. Deposit is non-refundable unless a medical certificate is presented. All changes in the reservations shall be made in writing by e-mail, during the office hours (9:00-16:00) in Finland. The receipt must be acknowledged by the house.
Arrival and Departure Requirements
For safety reasons, at the time of check-in, the guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference; their passport/identity card/driving license and a valid credit or debit card. The house reserves the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above.
Guests may check-in at any time from 15:00 on the scheduled day of arrival, unless an earlier arriving time is agreed in the booking. All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of booking will be held until 11:59pm on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly. We kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00 in the morning when departing, unless a later departure is stated as part of your Booking.
Accessibility and Special Needs
Please contact us by email nid.ho@wikkela.fi to discuss specific individual requirement 48 hours prior to your arrival date at the latest, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We reserve the right to have an additional charge, when the needs or wishes are outside of our service scope.
Parking
Every accommodation has one reserved parking space. Please contact the Arctic Dreams House staff directly for more information. Cars and their contents are left at the guest’s own risk. The house is not responsible for damage or disappearance of vehicles kept in the garage or the house’s parking area or valuables inside the vehicle.
No Smoking
Guests are not permitted to smoke inside the accommodations or public areas, except the designated areas which are appropriately marked.
Responsibility on Your Valuables and Damage
Guests will be responsible for the loss or damage (on purpose or by accident by you, your guest or your pet) of any property left in the accommodation other than as required under the applicable law. This applies also to the furniture and other equipment in the accommodation and its surrounding areas. The responsibility for caused damage is determined by general principles.
Legal Notice
Guest records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any police officer or as otherwise required by applicable law in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime.
